Yaniv Dinur Charms at Rubin Sharpe Tribute Series

Sunday, March 13, 2016, a crowd of approximately 200 enjoyed a talk and performance by the new Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra Assistant Conductor, Yaniv Dinur, a native of Israel.

Dinur entertained the audience on piano, an instrument on which he excels, with musical selections by Chopin, Copland, Ben-Haim, and Gershwin.  Dinur interwove each musical selection with delightful and entertaining stories about his life and experiences as a conductor in both Israel and America.

The free concert took place in Rubenstein Pavilion of the Jewish Home and Care Center, and was part of the Rubin Sharpe Tribute Series, a joint partnership of the JHCC Foundation and RUACH.
